Refund Policy
Effective date: 15 March 2026
This Refund Policy explains when and how Kordinate ("we", "us", or "our") issues refunds for subscriptions to the Kordinate platform. All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), who acts as our Merchant of Record.
1. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you are a new subscriber and are not satisfied with Kordinate for any reason, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial subscription payment. This applies to your first payment on a new subscription only.
To request a refund under this guarantee, contact us at team@kordinate.app within 14 days of your purchase with the subject line "Refund Request" and include your registered email address. We will process your refund within 5–10 business days.
2. Subscription Renewals
After the initial 14-day period, subscription fees are non-refundable. If you cancel your subscription, you will retain access to the platform until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing cycle.
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings (Settings → Billing → Manage Subscription) or by contacting us at team@kordinate.app.
3. Plan Upgrades and Downgrades
When you upgrade your plan mid-cycle, you will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the billing period at the new plan rate. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle and are not eligible for a refund of the difference for the current period.
4. Exceptions — When We Will Issue a Refund
Regardless of the above, we will issue a refund in the following circumstances:
- Duplicate charge — you were charged more than once for the same subscription period
- Billing error — you were charged an incorrect amount due to a system error on our end
- Service unavailability — the platform experienced significant downtime (>72 consecutive hours) during your paid period and you were materially impacted
- Required by law — applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction entitle you to a refund
All other refund requests outside of these exceptions are evaluated on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.
5. How Refunds Are Processed
All refunds are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Refunds are issued to your original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your card issuer or bank.
In some cases, Paddle may contact you directly to verify your identity before processing a refund. If you have questions about a specific transaction, you can also contact Paddle directly at paddle.com/support.
6. Annual Plans
Annual subscriptions are eligible for the 14-day money-back guarantee in the same way as monthly subscriptions. After 14 days, annual plan fees are non-refundable for the remainder of the annual term.
If you cancel an annual plan after 14 days, your access will continue until the end of the annual period you have paid for. We do not offer prorated refunds for the unused months of an annual subscription.
7. Free Trials
If Kordinate offers a free trial period, no charge is made during that period. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will convert to a paid plan and the standard refund policy above will apply from that point.
